This project started with a brief that invited us to imagine travel experiences for outer space. From that starting point, I was particularly drawn to the idea of exploring extraterrestrial plant life. The challenge was to create a landing page that could spark interest through engaging brand narrative, balancing scientific curiosity and visual wonder.
To build a cohesive proposal, the process involved benchmarking space tourism companies, defining personas such as scientists and botanists, and articulating the brand’s mission, tone, and visual language. Considering this audience, I was inspired by Science magazine, incorporating classic serif fonts into a modern interface. A black background reinforces the outer space theme, while the use of negative space helps convey a sense of vastness into the unknown. The minimalist interface lets the images of the planets and the plants stand out, creating contrast and drawing users into the story.
Along with the Figma prototype, I also coded the landing page from scratch using responsive HTML and CSS. The final landing page communicates the vision of Travel Beyond with the main goal of sparking interest, presenting the concept using storytelling to guide users through the service. This project was an opportunity to explore the combination of engaging narrative with interface design, while strengthening my skills in coding, interface design, and concept development.
